Celebrating its 10th anniversary, PwC’s 2024 Holiday Outlook captures the evolving landscape of consumer spending and behavior for the upcoming season, offering insights that could shape retail through 2025.
The Strategy
The design emphasizes the duality of tech-driven innovation and classic shopping experiences, with visuals that illustrate the blend of digital engagement and in-store traditions. We crafted infographics and interactive elements to highlight generational differences, from Gen Z’s focus on sustainable shopping and self-gifting to baby boomers’ preference for convenience and practicality. With a focus on AI-enhanced shopping and omnichannel options, the report reflects the season’s blend of tech and tradition, showing how retailers can respond to these trends to meet evolving consumer expectations.
